 The mountains are calling! Idyllic alpine motifs adorn the MONTANA cheese fondue set from Spring. The black appliqués are perfectly displayed on the white ceramic pot, as are the golden motifs on the black model. The rest of the fondue is also well thought out. The ceramic keeps the melted cheese warm for a long time, and the sturdy rechaud with safety paste burner heats the golden yellow mass from below. Six slim fondue forks are waiting to be used. When they emerge from the caquelon with cheese-coated bread or potato cubes, all that’s missing are the side dishes. Instead of the classic mixed pickles, try the sweet version with pears, grapes or figs.
